Happy belated Thanksgiving!

We hope you had a happy happy thanksgiving ! We did our traditional tablecloth and thanksgiving dishes from two of my grandmothers . Did our yearly flower arrangement in a pumpkin . Overnight turkey and we were ready for family & food.

Did a little shopping today and went and saw Disney's The Good Dinosaur... go see it! It was so so so good ! From ages 5-72 we all loved it. It had the little ones attention so well she felt every emotion from laughter to tears . It was THAT good!

diy burlap garland

Supplies:

105 Feet of burlap ribbon for about a 10 foot garland 

Roll of jute rope

Large yarn needle

Make a large knot at end of long length of jute, make a running stitch down the center of your burlap ribbon and scrunch,

Then tie a loop to help you hang.

Your done!

A wedding for our oldest

We had a major event, our oldest of three  daughters married . The wedding and reception was held at our church . The reception was in the gym, although with the lights down, candles lit, and some Christmas lights you could not tell.

Our middle daughter sang and the reception for the first dance .. And the littlest was a flower girl . It was a beautiful day ... Will share some pics with you !

We used several cable spools and stained them for the reception ...
